The Vocational Training Authority of Sri Lanka (VTA) is the apex body for technical and vocational education and training in Sri Lanka.
Established under the Vocational Training Authority Act No. 12 of 1995, VTA is responsible for the formulation of national policies and regulations for vocational and technical training in Sri Lanka.

Our History
1995
VTA established under Act No. 12 of 1995 to regulate and coordinate vocational training in Sri Lanka.
2000s
Expansion of Vocational Training Centers (VTCs) and District Vocational Training Centers (DVTCs) across all districts.
Present
Operating over 150 training centers offering diverse courses aligned with industry needs.
